What training equipment is available at the Sippy Downs facility?

Our 2,000m² facility features 50+ professional CPR mannequins (including adult, child, and infant Laerdal units), 10 AED trainers, 6 fully-equipped climate-controlled training rooms, wound simulation moulage kits, bandaging supplies, splints, training EpiPens, asthma management devices, and complete first aid kits. All equipment is sanitized between sessions and meets Australian training standards. We provide individual mannequins for each student to ensure optimal hands-on practice time.

How far is IRFA from USC campus and how do I get there?

IRFA is located approximately 2km from USC campus, which is about a 5-minute drive via Claymore Road. USC students and staff can access our facility via bus routes 600, 607, and 615, with the USC bus interchange just 500 meters from our location (7-minute walk). For drivers, take the Mons Road exit from the Bruce Highway, then follow Claymore Road to Bellflower Road. Free parking is available for all students.

Do you offer same-day first aid certificates at Sippy Downs?

Yes! All students who successfully complete their training at our Sippy Downs headquarters receive same-day digital certificates, typically within 2-4 hours of course completion. Your Statement of Attainment from RTO 32154 is emailed directly to you and is immediately valid for employment and compliance purposes. Physical certificates are also mailed within 48 hours if requested. This applies to all our nationally recognized courses including HLTAID011, HLTAID009, HLTAID012, and UETDRRF004.

What are the operating hours at IRFA Sippy Downs?

Our office is open Monday to Friday: 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM and Saturday: 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM. Course sessions run throughout these times, with popular sessions including morning first aid courses (9AM-1PM), morning CPR training (9AM-11AM), and evening CPR sessions (5PM-7PM). We also offer early morning electrical rescue training starting at 7AM for tradespersons. Group bookings can be arranged for weekends and after-hours by contacting our team.
