As a registered training organisation (RTO), we collect your personal information so we can process and manage your enrolment in a vocational education and training (VET) course with us.
We use your personal information to enable us to deliver VET courses to you, and otherwise, as needed, to comply with our obligations as an RTO.

NCVER will collect, hold, use and disclose your personal information in accordance with the law, including the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (Privacy Act) and the NVETR Act. HLTAID009 (Provide CPR) is a 2-hour course covering CPR for adults, children and infants plus AED use, renewed every 12 months. HLTAID011 (Provide First Aid) is the comprehensive 4-hour course including HLTAID009 plus wound care, burns, fractures, shock and anaphylaxis, valid 3 years.
HLTAID011 and HLTAID012 are valid 3 years, but the CPR component must be renewed every 12 months per ARC guidelines. CPR-only (HLTAID009) is valid 12 months.
Yes — your nationally recognised Statement of Attainment is issued the same day, usually emailed within hours of completing your practical assessment.
Yes — a Unique Student Identifier is required for all nationally recognised training in Australia. It's free and takes under 5 minutes at usi.gov.au.
Most courses include 2–4 hours of online pre-learning to reduce face-to-face time, followed by hands-on practical and assessment with a paramedic trainer.

HLTAID012 (Provide First Aid in an Education and Care Setting) is the ACECQA-approved first aid qualification required for educators and staff working in childcare centres, kindergartens, preschools and OOSH services. It covers paediatric CPR, anaphylaxis, asthma and regulatory compliance requirements for the education and care sector.
UETDRMP018 (Perform Rescue from a Live LV Panel and Administer CPR) is the nationally recognised Low Voltage Rescue qualification required annually for all licensed electrical workers under the Electrical Safety Act. It covers safe rescue techniques from energised LV switchboards and CPR to ARC standards.
Yes. IRFA is an ASQA-registered RTO (32154) and all courses are nationally recognised under the Australian Qualifications Framework. HLTAID011 satisfies Safe Work Australia workplace first-aider requirements, and HLTAID012 meets ACECQA requirements for the education and care sector.

Wear comfortable clothing suitable for floor-based practical activities (CPR involves kneeling). Bring your USI (Unique Student Identifier), a valid photo ID, and any pre-course learning confirmation. All equipment — manikins, AEDs, bandages — is provided by IRFA.
Visit usi.gov.au and create your free Unique Student Identifier in under 5 minutes. You will need an Australian ID document (driver's licence, passport, Medicare card or birth certificate). Your USI is required for all nationally recognised training in Australia and stays with you for life.
