Course Details
Please bring a valid photo ID (driver's license, passport, or proof of age card) and your USI (Unique Student Identifier). If you don't have a USI, you can create one for free at usi.gov.au – it only takes a few minutes. Wear comfortable clothing suitable for practical exercises on the floor. All training materials, equipment, and refreshments are provided.
Yes, there is a practical assessment where you demonstrate the skills you've learned (such as CPR and wound management). There's also a short written assessment covering theory and knowledge. Don't worry – our instructors guide you through everything step-by-step, and most students pass easily. The assessments are designed to be achievable while ensuring you're truly prepared for real-life emergencies.
Our instructors work closely with all students to ensure success. If you need additional support, we'll provide extra coaching during the course. In the rare case that you don't meet the competency requirements, you can re-attend the course free of charge within 3 months. We're committed to your success and will support you until you're confident and certified.

Yes, HLTAID011 Provide First Aid satisfies the first aid training requirements for most Australian workplaces under WHS legislation. However, some industries have specific requirements – childcare workers need HLTAID012, electricians need UETDRMP018, and construction workers need a White Card. Check with your employer or industry body if you're unsure.
If the course is work-related and required by your employer, you may be able to claim it as a tax deduction. We provide tax invoices for all bookings.
