HLTAID009 (Provide CPR) is a focused 2-hour course covering CPR for adults, children and infants plus AED use, renewed every 12 months. HLTAID011 (Provide First Aid) is the comprehensive 4-hour course that includes HLTAID009 plus wound care, burns, fractures, shock and anaphylaxis, valid for 3 years.
HLTAID011 and HLTAID012 are valid for 3 years, but the CPR component must be renewed every 12 months per ARC guidelines. CPR-only (HLTAID009) is valid for 12 months.
