- Watch for chest rise and fall
- Listen for breath sounds
- Feel for air movement on your cheek
- Check for no more than 10 seconds
Key Point: If no normal breathing, begin CPR immediately - don't waste time
C CPR & Circulation
Chest Compressions:
- 30 compressions at 100-120 per minute
- Push hard and fast, at least 5cm deep
- Allow complete chest recoil
- Follow with 2 rescue breaths
Key Point: High-quality compressions are more important than perfect rescue breaths
D Defibrillation (AED)
AED Application:
- Apply pads as shown in pictures
- Ensure everyone is clear before shock
- Follow AED voice prompts exactly
- Resume CPR immediately after shock
