Why IRFA Starts at 7AM — and No One Else Does

Most CPR providers start at 9AM or later. IRFA's 7AM early morning session was designed for shift workers, nurses finishing night shifts, tradies who start early, and anyone who wants their CPR done and dusted before the rest of the country wakes up. Be certified by 9AM. It's that simple.

The DRSABCD Plan

You'll Master the DRSABCD Emergency Action Plan

DRSABCD is the foundation of every CPR response in Australia, as recommended by the Australian Resuscitation Council. You'll practice each step until it's second nature.

A

Airway

Open and clear the airway — tilt head, lift chin, look for obstructions

B

Breathing

Check for normal breathing for no more than 10 seconds

C

CPR

30 chest compressions and 2 rescue breaths — 100–120 compressions per minute

D

Defibrillation
